Healthwatch Brighton and Hove is an organisation led by and for local people. We have a fantastic group of volunteers who work with us on a number of projects. Their skills are varied and wide-ranging and across all the volunteer team, enthusiasm is shown for the aims of Healthwatch. We really appreciate the hard work these people do, giving up their time and energy and we certainly could not carry out the work we do without them.
Healthwatch are currently in the scoping stage on a number of new projects, which we hope to develop in the New Year. We anticipate that we will need further volunteers, in addition to our current group, to help us with this work and this is where you come in.
If you are interested in any of the following areas or you think you may be able to offer something additional to this, please contact email@example.com with a completed application form and an equal opportunities monitoring form. (The forms can be downloaded from www.healthwatchbrightonandhove.co.uk/volunteering-opportunities/). We would be particularly keen if you have an interest or expertise in the following specialist areas:
Frail Elders Mental Health Maternity Cancer
Our volunteers have fulfilling and valuable roles, induction and training, support from staff, and payment of out-of-pocket expenses. We rely on our volunteers to carry out Healthwatch’s work, and we aim to recruit from all sections of the community.
